Exfoliant

Lactic Acid

Lactic acid is a gentle alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from milk. It exfoliates while also hydrating, making it ideal for dry or sensitive skin types.

When to Use

Evening

Concentration

5% - 12%

Best For

Sensitive skin, Dry skin, Gentle exfoliation, Beginners

How It Works

Lactic acid has a larger molecular size than glycolic acid, so it doesn't penetrate as deeply. It also has humectant properties, drawing moisture into the skin while exfoliating.
